Getting rid of fleas???

Have a one year old housecat . never been outside. recently a friend brought her dog over and not long afterward i realized i had fleas. I have tried all the store treaments but it seems like it is getting worse. Anyone have a solution. THX,

Got to the store and get a thing called a bomb. Set it off in the house, but make sure no pets or people are home for at least that day. Then, when you return, bathe the cat in flea shampoo, wash all of the bedding you and you pet sleep on, and use a flea cream on the cat, get it from the vet. Don't let that lady or her dog come over until her fleas are gone too.

They are probably in your house now too... which means you will have to get your carpets cleaned professionally while concurrently doing flea treatment on your cat (I think frontline works best).

Frontline or Advantage from a vet or feed store works the best.  It keeps fleas off the cat for over a month.If you vacuum regularly the fleas will be gone in no time,
