Question:

Getting rid of mice?

I have a full blown infestation. I can hear the little suckers screaming in the middle of the night, it's that bad. I've tried everything, traps (with a variety of bait - from peanut butter to cheese), eco traps, a variety of poison... nothing is working. My next step will be hiring an exterminator, but what can they do I haven't tried yet? Is there something I'm missing - surely it can't be this hard to get rid of a few (hundred by now probably) mice! I've put out the first trap and poison when I saw the first mouse - they're everywhere now. Please help!

  1. if you've got that many mice running around, you should skip trying to do anything yourself and call an exterminator-not only are mice full of disease, but they'll get into all of your stuff-especially your food-it's just easier to call someone.

  2. Get those RIDDEX electronic pest repellers. They really work.

  3. I use something called a Mice Cube. I got it at Wal Mart for $1.49 (price may vary). You put something in it to lure it in, I use a small piece of a pop-tart, then put it it where you see mice. It will go for the bait, then get trapped inside. Then, you go far far away and release it. I got it yesterday and already caught 2 mice with it.
