  1. Provent-A-Mite is usually what is used with snake mite problems. Daily cage cleanings with 1 part bleach and 30 parts water, replacing substrate with paper towels and increasing the heat slightly.

If you have other snakes in your house they will have mites too. You will need to treat everyone. Mites are trick fellows and get everywhere.

Here is a detailed article on reptile mites:

    Good luck

  2. take to the vet and get checked out in case

  3. that vet forgot to tell you that if you have fake log hide or rocks or a tree branch to get rid of the tree branch take an old tooth brush and mild soap and a lot of hot water and scrub those3 things down and that goes for a heat rock if you have one.and unless you are going to change it every day don't use paper towels and change your bedding.i use crushed walnut shells but many people will tell you that it's not made for snakes.my snakes had mites and it was from the bedding i used so thats why i changed it

  4. Usually giving the cage a very thorough cleaning and mite medication will clear it up.

Check a vet they can tell you exactly.
