Getting rid of viruses on your computer?

Ok.... my mistake, i used my bros laptop.....yada yada yada. i f*cked up and now there are viruses and spyware and all that sh*t. so i have adware scan on there. but a thing keeps poping up. a Ultimate Antivirus 2008 thing that scans and says theres viruses but then wont delete them from the computer caz you need to register. i want to delete this program but cant find it under the add/delete program list. i also tryed putting the laptop in safe mode but it wont let me sign on wen its in safe mode so i couldnt do that.

i need help cleaning the computer.....either advise or free programs i can download to clean it. please anything would be helpful. thank you.

    When dealing with an infection you need to make sure that not only do you delete it but you make sure it cant come back.

    To completly Get rid of the infection, I recommend you reinstall windows.  This will make sure that it is gone and it cannot continue to lurk around in your pc and reactivate later.

    When the Infection is gone, Make sure you protect your computer very well with a very good antivirus or security suite. Also, educate yourself on online safety.  Most virus infections are a result of our own actions.

  5. Im not exactly sure but since you might have to pay to get your computer fixed, i would say buy a mac y dads had one since 1997 and updated versions but has never had one single ViRuS

  6. Sounds pretty bad. Try AVG anti virus. If all else fails, format hard drive and re-install windows
