  6. nowadays there are very few shots that will ever hurt more than a second. it basically feels like get pinched lightly.

  7. it depends what shots you're getting. i remember not even getting any shots for middle school. but usually they hurt for a second and then the pain gets a little bit better and may be sore for a few days. if your only getting shots for changing schools then i doubt they will be awful because the shots that hurt are the ones you get in an emergency. hope that helped a bit! :)

  9. Don't worry about it, bud. It only hurts for about a second and I know that everybody says that, but I have a phobia of needles and if I can do it, so can you. I have to close my eyes and use numbing cream so that I don't feel the needle go in because I just completely lose my head. When I was ten or eleven years old, they tried to draw some blood and I saw the needle and flipped. I tried to punch the phlebotomist in the face. She ducked down behind the counter (I'd never seen anyone move so fast) and I tore out of there, ripping the plastic off my arm, my mother screaming after me about what an embarrassment I am.

    So... that in mind... lol

    You should do fine. Just look away when they do it and think of something else. Think of a pink elephant, my psychology teacher always said. The image is just so bizarre that you will forget whatever is worrying you completely. 8)


  10. It depends on the type of shot your receiving. But shots only hurt for a second a small pinch and then its done. When i got my flu shot it never hurt at all. Hope i helped.

  13. It depends on what shots you're getting, but most of the time, the minimal pain lasts for a second, and then you're done.

  14. don't wworyy at all my shots were fast and painless

    tthink about sumone you like instead of the shots like sumthing that makes you smile and itll be over before you know it...it wont kill you trust me youll be so happy when its over

  15. Yeah! I just got mine :[! &I have to go back to the doctor on Saturday >:O, Idk why. I hope I don't have to get more shots :[ . You'll probably get like 2 or 3 shots on your arm ( near the shoulders ) & they'll poke your finger for a blood test. Kinda like a checkup. But just don't look when your doctor is giving you a shot. Shut your eyes like reaaaaally tight! It hurts a lot afterwards too. It might get swollen, but it's normal. So..don't worry, it won't kill you =].

  18. No, actually. Well, one hurt more than the other. Then again, I don't have middle school where I live, so we could be completely different pages here. If you're talking about the grade nine shots, no. They don't hurt.
