Hi,

I'm a current student at the Art Institute of Pittsburgh majoring in Digital media Production. I've bought some of my own equipment to produce commercial, I have a DVX100b and a small production team.

I'm looking to get started doing local commercials for businesses because the commercials i see now are completely terrible in our local area. Should I contact the business itself or look for its advertising agency, which i dont think any of them have any.

Any suggestions?

I live in the Zanesville, Oh area.

  1. Contact the company itself.  If they have an ad agency, you are going to have to compete for advertising contract.  If no agency, then you can make a direct proposal.  You will need a portfolio!
