I bought some new acrylic cups and the labels are SUPER STICKY! How do I get them off? The first layer came off but the sticky part...still there!!

  1. Use either Goo Gone, or Rubbing alcohol. Ethyl alcohol works better than Isopropyl alcohol, but either will work. Goo gone works great too, if you have some.

  2. Just buy a bottle of Goo Gone.

  3. tea tree oil. I guarantee it.

    Rubbing alchohol.

  4. Put cups in microwave to soften glue.

Clean off with White Spirit on dry cloth.

    Wash.

    Regards.

  5.   put a little cooking oil on your finger & rub it on the sticker ..it may take a little while but the sticker WILL rub off leaving no residue.

  6. A serious pet peeve of mine!!

I have found that if I soak them in hot soapy water and then use a relatively soft bristled scrub brush (and a little persistence) they do come off.  Careful not to use a knife or anything abrasive that will scratch the acrylic.

    Good Luck!

  7. put water on the sticker while its on the cup..and when its soft and moist try peeling it off..the paer will get off and the glue:) HOPE THAT HELPED!!!!!!
