whenever you get stuck in a elevator, what are the safety tips to follow and how to get out of the situation

without panicking...

I've been stuck in an elevator a couple of times never for more than five minutes give or take.  I really did not have much time to do anything. My fellow employees on the elevator reacted in many different ways. We had a screamer ( we all wanted to kill her) we had a doer who immediately looked for ways out, we had an enforcer who shut the screamer up ( threatining to put a fist down her throat) and I just stood there and watched.
