Getting taxi license at sydney?

hi im karthik from india coming to sydney this november..i wanted to know how long does it take for an international student to get taxi license in sydney abd whats the cost to get that..il be happy if u guide the easy way to obtain taxi license.

Best thing is not to speak English and be unable to find any destination without having to search in road maps.of course you will have to leave the metre running

The most important thing is to know absolutely nothing about the city.  That seems to be the only universal requirement.  Lack of comprehensible English is also an advantage.
