  1. NHS PRICE LIST FROM 1st April 2008

Band 3. Provision of appliances Complex treatment that includes a laboratory element: e.g. bridgework, crowns and dentures, excludes mouth guards £198.00

  2. I think its about twenty pounds for a check up and clean.....

  3. Approx. £40 for a clean.

    Atrocious!

  4. at my dentist it costs me £35 to have your teeth cleaned.

  5. Here in Spain its 55€ but its done with laser machine so none of that pulling and tugging that I dreaded in the UK years ago that used to make your gums bleed. I hate going to the dentist but at least here its not such a rip off.  When I lived in the UK the dentist ALWAYS found something to do, so I was constantly paying out. I've been going to the same dentist in Spain for 14 years and only ever had one other thing done besides the 6 monthly check ups and cleaning??? Nothing is ever wrong with them here, funny eh???
