Getting teeth pulled for braces (4)

Question

ok any month now i shall be getting a call to get my teeth pulled i am

freaking out nightmares the whole bit what do they do does it hurt afterwards. that is my concerns my cousin is a dentist

I had two teeth pulled before I got braces. One of them was actually transplanted back into my mouth in a different space. I don't remember pain from having my teeth pulled. My transplanted tooth fell apart while eating breakfast one morning 6 months before I got married. :)

I had too many teeth in my mouth, so when my wisdom teeth came in, they had to pull them out emergently.  

I went to the oral surgeon at 5 PM on Tuesday and had all of them removed Wednesday morning at 7 AM.  The extraction was painless and they gave me instructions to not suck out of a straw and thats about it.  

It was a piece of cake.  No problems what so ever and I never had to take a pain pill.

omg..i had to get 4 teeth taken out before getting my braces..to tell u the truth..the next couple of days it didnt hurt..because they gave me this strong pill..i didnt even feel any pain for the couple of days..but to tell u the truth,after they take it out..u feel like your drunk..because for me..they put like 8 needles..it didnt hurt that much..good luck

The only thing you gotta worry about is looking like Grandma 3000 and trust me that's what family can do to you just to bust your chops.

the the actual extraction shouldnt hurt, and if it does, just ask your dentist for more novacaine. thats what happened to me when i got my wisdom teeth removed, and all he did was give me more novacaine. the pain after is minor and you should be fine with some pain medication.
