Getting thumbs up points.??????

does anyone feel that when they get thumbs up they never get the points . does anyone know why this is?

i get them when i log on its always like "you've recieved 13 points today" etc

this is what it says on the website

Receive a "thumbs-up" rating on a best answer that you wrote (up to 50 thumbs-up are counted)

1 per "thumbs-up"

if u look in the regulations it says u dont get any point for giving or recieving thumbs up sorry!

you only get points for thumbs ups if you get the best answer too

edit: anyone saying you don't get points from thumbs up are wrong...you get 1 pt for every thumbs up you get on a BEST ANSWER.

only on best answers you don't get them on any question...
