Getting to Hurstone Park.... From Sydney Airport????

Hi,

I am visiting a friend in Sydney next week and was just wondering how I could get from Sydney Domestic Airport to Hurlstone park?

Is this possible via train?

Is the airport line on the same line as Hurlstone park?

If not, what colour line is Hurlstone Park on... and what station could I board a train that connects to the Hurlstone Park line?

My friend has to work so she is unable to pick me up from the airport, so I need as much info as you can give!

I don't know a great deal about Sydney!

I do have a map of the Sydney rail network but it is just so confusing!

Sorry if this is too confusing!

Hi,

Yes you can easily take the train from Sydney Domestic Airport to Hurlstone Park.

However, the airport line is a separate line from the line in which Hurlstone Park is on...

Sydney Domestic Airport is on the green line (Airport & East Hills Line)

Hurlstone Park is on the orange line (Bankstown Line)

So heres what you do...

Firstly, the railway station is directly under the Domestic Airport terminals, so after you arrive in Sydney you can take the escalators or lift directly down to the Domestic terminal train station.

Board a train to Sydney Central station, all city bound trains departing from the Domestic Airport will be stopping at this station, just make sure you view the indicator screen to make sure you are boarding the right train... the train should be going to Town Hall via the “City Circle”. These trains will most likely be departing from Platform 1, but just double check the indicator screens to make sure!

At Central, go to platform 22 and board a train bound for Bankstown, this train should make a stop at Hurlstone Park, just double check on the indicator screen on the platform!
