Question:

Getting too big from certain exercises?

It seems that I am getting too big from certain exercises. The culprits are squats and deadlifts. I made some great gains when I incorporated the squat at first, but ever since I started deadlifting in the beginning of the summer I'm getting too big and I keep having to buy new shirts because of mass I gain from it.

Should I continue deadlifting even though I have to buy new shirts every month?

  1. Depends if that's the look you want.  Personally I prefer to stay toned rather than bulked, as bulking can tend to look a little odd if you get it out of proportion.


  2. Yeah you should keep doing it.

    You are one of the lucky ones to gain mass so quickly.  

    Well if you want to get bigger, then keep doing it.

    Just buy bigger shirts next time so it can last you at least 2 months.
