Getting two wisdom teeth pulled?

My friend is getting two wisdom teeth pulled tomorrow. I will be driving her there and then care taking after that. Will she be able to eat? If so, what kind of foods. Also, how long should she expect to be in pain?

soft cold foods only.  she will be in pain when the novacaine wears off.  the pain depends.  it hurt three days one time i had them pulled and only 1 day when i had another pulled.

She will be able to eat foods like mashed potatoes and gravy, pudding, jello, and especially try to get her to drink a milkshake. The first day isnt so bad because youre still drowsy from the medicine, but the second day is a little worse because the medication has wore off but they give you pain killers. make sure she does NOT use a straw, it is very important that the blood clots stay in the hole or else you can get something called dry sockets and will have to go back to the doctor.

She will be able to eat only fluids, soup pretty much.  As for the pain, the dentist will prescribe pain pills.  She should take them as soon as she gets them and stay on them.  If she takes them before she starts hurting it will control the pain better.  She shouldn't wait until after it starts hurting because then it won't work as well.  I had all four taken out and was better in a couple of days.  I had an excellent dentist though.  No swelling or anything.   But everyone heals differently.  Hope she heals quick.  Good luck to her.
