Getting your first period after baby?

For a mother who is not breastfeeding when should a period start.

I stopped breast feeding when my son was 2 and half months old. I got my period about a month after that. I thought that was a while so it may be sooner for some. If you don't get it after 2 months I would go and see your Dr just to make sure everything is OK!

WIth my daughter I got mine 5 weeks after she was born.  With my son it was the day after I had my 6 week check-up. Dr. said usually 4-6 weeks after you give birth.
