Getting your horse used to a new barn?

Question

I'm transporting my horse to a new stable, which I've never done before.

Should he spend the first day inside, in his stall? Or outside in the pastures?

How many days will it take him to get used to the new environment.

I don't want to overwhelm him, and I'll be patient. How many days would you advise I wait until I start riding him there? Taking him on their trails?

 YOU CAN RIDE HIM RIGHT AWAY i own horses and i just moved him put him in the areana for a while desencitize him than you can ride. you should always ween him onto grass because it is diffrent. he will be fine i promise
