I have been to both countries, but opted to live in Ghana.

Security is still a big problem in Sierra Leone. The country sure has it's advantages and nice places, but that applies to almost all sub Saharan countries as well.

Ghanaians are peaceful and very hospitable people, both of which the Sierra Leonians are only  to a limited extent.

Infrastructure in SL is still in shambles, while Ghana is rapidly developing its own
