Ghazeer likely to seal success in Betfred Mobile Sports Handicap
The Derek Shaw trained bay gelding, Ghazeer, is likely to seal a sterling success in the high-voltage race of the Betfred Mobile Sports Handicap that will be held at Wolverhampton racecourse on Monday, August 6. The Class 6 contest over 5 furlongs and 20
yards is scheduled to begin at 6:50 (GMT).
The three-year-old enthusiastic horse seems to be confident enough to win the £1,704 event on the standard track. He has experienced such sort of race conditions for at least three times in his 8-race career that started on March 14, 2012.
The brilliant son of Intikhab out of Genial Jenny ran each of his first three races on the standard ground of Kempton, but could not be able to do well.
In his first ever outing at Wolverhampton, the talented sprinter finished as the runner-up against nine rivals. He moved on to grab the 6th position in the 13-runner contest of the 32Red.com Handicap at Chepstow on May 23.
The Holborn Trust Co bred gelding elegantly broke his maiden by winning the Routeone Handicap at Warwick on June 28. Despite being a non-favourite candidate, he demonstrated an outstanding run.
In his last start on July 29, the young sprinter nicely finished second against seven strong rivals. Now, he is well-prepared to take on 11 competitors in today’s marathon. If he manages to keep his stamina intact, he will be able to win convincingly as
none of the other contestants looks to be strong enough except Kai.
The Alan McCabe trained bay gelding also has 8 races on his career chart. He debuted in August 2011. After some pathetic performances, he managed to bag his maiden triumph in the Betfred Mobile Sports Handicap at Wolverhampton on May 21, 2012.
Today again, the son of Kyllachy out of Belle Ile is going to test his racing skills at the same venue. The familiarity with the track will lend a great hand to him.
In this situation, it is expected that Kai and Ghazeer will fight neck-to-neck for victory. Let us see how the Irish horse struggles to thrives. Good luck to the duo.
