For those who haven't had a paranormal experience in their home:

For the other Paranormal Investigators:

1.What is the most legit piece of evidence you have recieved from an investigation

For the Skeptics: ANSWER BOTH OF THE FOLLOWING

2.Where is the/your proof they don't?

  1. My last home had ghosts that I lived with for 3 years.  They were never really a nuisence to me, they put a scare into every one else that lived with me, or stayed the night.  When I sold the house I let the people know what I believed was going on in the house, of course they thought I was crazy.  I know they haven't followed me to my present home.  I haven't been in contact with the owners as they have already left the home as well.

  2. yeah for two years I lived in one that was haunted. the first question I have always asked is if the house has anything strange going on in it. My present house is very quiet. As for my evidence, I retain all my material and do not divulge any of it unless your a close friend. The evidence I have gotten while isnt very much, I throw away about 98% of everything I get, is for my personal use. What evidence i have kept, is very good, not your average orbs and shaky camera stuff most sites and groups keep.

  3. I stayed in a house for about one year that had a lot of things going on. I am not stupid but for some reason, I never thought it was a ghost or poltergheist or worse. I was really just amazed at the events as if something were not letting me to think about it being something paranormal until months after I moved and then it was so obvious.

I had floating objects that would float right in front of me. It had a red led light on it so I could see it floating upwards and once I turned the lights on, it would be back on the desk.

I could do this over and over and never catch it in the air with the lights on. I am sure that will give a skeptic some good ammo to poo on it, but I was there and the point I am making is that I never once thought ghost. I thought how weird is that? I never thought paranormal or thought of a camera. All logical things I would do thinking about it now, but it was never a thought when I lived there. That is almost as strange as the floating. Why did I not think it was paranormal at the time?

That was just one of the events. I was sick all  the time until I moved. I was very paranoid all of the time inside but not outside.

I had major insane nightmares. So real and so scary.

Other people saw cokes slide across a table more than once.

and they never cried ghost either. It was like that thought was not allowed.

I moved, got well and the nightmares and paranoia stopped. That was when I started to realise the place had some sort of bad spirit activity.

  4. Yes, My house is haunted.

and I don't want to talk about it.......anymore!!

  5. Yes, I live in a very active haunted home with my family.  I since the age of 5 have never not been in a home that wasn't haunted.  I got taught how to deal with ghosts, spirits, demons at the age of 5.  All of the women in both sides of my parents have also always lived in haunted houses.  They treat us like ghost magnets.

Sometimes if I am here alone and the walking and the other noises that start up, I do get scared at that.  I am human and fast heart rate and fear never quite leaves anyone.

Yeah, you know what I am tired of the skeptics and their rudeness to myself and to others.  I don't know of anything more to say to them as they just laugh at any thing we all have to say that they need to be open-minded and use the Church against what we say and I don't have time to play games with Children who are rude to anyone.

There are ghosts, spirits, demons and a whole lot of other ones.  All I can say is, it is true.

  6. I used to not believe in ghosts..but several years ago I went with my boyfriend to visit one of his friends. While we were there, I had to go to the bathroom. While I was sitting there, a man materialized standing in the bathtub..he had a long beard and wearing a confederate uniform and was transparent..I ran back into the living-room and told them I had seen a ghost and my boyfriend's friend described him to a tee and said he sees him all the time and that he was not a threat.  It made a believer out of me.  This is a true story.

  7. The previous owners of this house never said anything. But there has been a few occurrences in this house that could be considered paranormal activity (i.e. passing shadows, articles dropping from stable locations, unusual squeaks from non-squeaky areas. Its unconfirmed but I have no problems. Could be I'm entertaining to watch.

  8. Yes, I have. By now you have probably read my story at least once so I will not post it here.

  9. I don't say that my house is "haunted" but there is a presence here, a comforting presence.  Everyone who visits this house remarks about how welcoming it feels.  I felt that way about this house when I first saw it, before I bought it and before any of this happened, so I think there is more than one presence in this house, but that is another story.

While my husband was dying last year his mother was here in the house with us for months (she passed away more than 20 years ago). I felt her comforting presence many times, and she was seen on 4 separate occasions by 4 different people.

Most of the time she stayed in the upstairs hallway - I was very aware of her there. Sometimes she came into our bedroom. When my husband was sleeping he would sometimes smile and wave to someone, and I always believed it was her. At other times he spoke to me as if I was beside him, when I was actually on the other side of the room.

I talked to her a number of times, and the last time I talked to her it was to tell her that her son, my husband, was no longer in the house as he had gone to palliative care. I think she was a bit confused about where he was, as we had often left the house for hours or days at a time, but until then he had always come back. At that time I told her that she needed to come with me and I would take her to him, and she did come with me, and I never again felt her in the house.

The last interesting part about this story is that I just got back to my house a few days ago after being away for three months. For those three months I was very sad, but since I have been here in the house I know that I feel different - settled, content. It is as if my husband is here - something is making me feel more content, and I believe in some way, it is him.  So, yes, I still live in the house and have no intention of selling it.

  10. Yes, I lived in and stayed in a haunted house. I was between marriages, living with two other 'bachelors' who didn't/wouldn't accept the presence of a spirit. It was a great house and, while I wasn't disturbed/intimidated by the spirit, I was annoyed that my buddies denied its presence... until first one then the other encountered the cold space on the stairs and saw the shadow on the wall of the stairs that came down 'for dinner' each night at about the same time.

None of us had any history of the circumstances until we questioned the real estate agent that rented the house to us. She told us the previous resident (owner) had died in the house, was there for a while and when discovered, the morticians had a difficult time getting the body down the narrow stairs.

Why his spirit (a dark shadow) always came down around dinner time we didn't know. We stayed in the house because it was a perfect 'bachelor pad' and, while the ghost came down for dinner every night, he never ate anything. Not being a threat or menacing in any way, we just accepted his presence. He never seemed to miss mealtime, however.

  11. I lived in an apartment for a year and strange things happened. Things mysteriously fell to the floor, like the Raiders plaque that my roommate had hanging on the wall or the loaf of bread that was on top of the refrigerator. One time my roommate and I were out on the patio and he told me he had just seen someone standing by the dining table, watching us, and we were the only ones there. At least that's what we thought. I also remember lying on my bed, trying to take a nap, when I felt something scratching my feet. I thought it was the siamese cat that was living with us but the cat was in the living room on the couch, sleeping. I was in my room with the door closed. Whatever or whoever was in the apartment with us seemed harmless. I continued to live there despite all of that.

  12. Fairy Queen..That is SO FUNNY!!! That's one time when being called "crazy'" for believing in the paranormal worked for good for you!! LOL

team....We've been over this same thing with the skeptics on here before. ...about "what will it take to convince you?". If you go to "similar questions asked" you should find the answers on there that the "regulars" on here have already posted.

Moving isn't all that easy...especially if you have dogs. No one wants to rent to people with dogs. The last time I was in a place that was haunted and I couldn't afford to move it turned out HORRIBLE. And like Louisa...I don't want to talk about it either. And yes, I'm ok...except for the insomnia ,nightmares, PTSD and Panic Attacks etc etc etc. That's why I try to warn ya'll about this paranormal stuff...But instead...ya'll just keep on trying to find ghosts etc instead of staying clear of them. I'm not a skeptic. I KNOW it's true...THAT'S THE PROBLEM!!!!!!!!!

  13. The most legitimate piece of evidence I have collected...there are many.  Please check out my web site to look at some of the pictures and listen to the recorded evps.

Please let me know what you think.

  14. I grew up in a haunted house, and oddly enough the ghost followed my brother acting as a protector of sorts till he moved on.

I do believe that if you suspect paranormal activity that it is only karmically right to foreworn the next possible owners.

  15. Some have said--and I tend to believe--there is no such thing as a haunted house, only haunted people.

To answer your questions to the skeptics:

"1. What do you need proof in order for ghosts to exisit."

What would *you* need to believe ghosts *don't* exist?

To be convinced ghosts exist I would need some sort of measurable event.  If we have enough measurable events then we can test these things.  That would yield predicted repeatability and then the ability to explain what ghosts are, what causes them, etc.

Despite the "millions" who believe in ghosts and all of the supposed sightings we still haven't come any farther than anecdotal evidence.  This is not good enough to establish the existence of anything, especially when the belief in ghosts is so easily influenced by the culture in which a person lives.

Ghosts can be many things.  They are the mythical Boogey Man.  They are the fear of the unknown.  They are used to support the belief in the afterlife.  They are the scapegoat for any perceived anomaly.  They are a security blanket for the magical thinker.

    "2.Where is the/your proof they don't?"

Can you prove an invisible dragon isn't hovering in the air in front of you?

As anyone can tell you, it isn't possible to disprove something, except on a very small and specific scale.  I am unable to disprove the existence of ghosts, but I may be able to offer natural explanations for what some people think are ghostly activities.  The only way it can be approached is one case at a time.

Furthermore, it's not my business to disprove anything.  I am not the one making the positive assertion that something for which there is no evidence most certainly exists.  It *is* my business to take issue with those who do make claims about conditions in this world for which they can provide no supporting data.

  16. to address 1. No one admits a paranormal experience.

Its not in the PA or Texas clauses.

The biggest legit i have had and i've been doing this a long long time.

was the woman that said she had a bad smelly guy in her bedroom. It was so bad that she couldn't have s*x

ripping up her hardwood floors left no dead mice.

    An awful cost!

    Finally she called me in.

I got no impressions till I i met her bedroom. I advised her NOT to tell me anything about her background or history till i saw the house.

The bedroom stank of something. I prayed my prayer of protection, and then cleansed the room.

When i entered the house. it felt clear and great. Until i got to the bedroom

The woman couldn't conceive after clearing the bedrooom she went on to have 4 kids. YOU decide.
