  1. I am a ghost hunter and I live on a Native American burial ground. I help who I can and got some good EVP's and good video.

  2. i'm a ghost hunter and a good one too!!

  3. I try not to go anywhere I don't have permission to go, usually you don't have permission to go to reservations, ect. But there are some burial mounds in northern michigan i would like to check out.

  4. I've caught one EVP that's been identified as speaking Apache (identified by someone who says they're 1/2 Apache by heritage, and since they have the physical genetic markers for this, I never bothered with verifying it), but I never would go into a native site like what you describe without being asked. Such places are sacred, and respect of the people there requires that they have their privacy in their sacred space.

I've wanted to go up and check out Wounded Knee, because there are some excellent EVP's from there which appear in both English and another native tongue (which, to my knowledge, has not been confirmed, but which does sound like one of the Sioux languages to my ear).

I've also picked up Chinese (archaic Mandarin, actually), Spanish, French, and a few languages that I haven't identified... all of these in the western United States. There are also others who have picked up Russian, Hebrew, Yiddish, Ojibwa, and a host of other languages. Also, regional and cultural accents seem to come through on EVP's as well.

However, like all EVP's, there will be clear ones and not-so-clear ones. Also, it might help if you ask the questions in these native tongues, because if they're "intelligent" style responses, it might be something you could use to find out more information.

I'd love to hear more of these, so feel free to email or IM me (click on my name for the links to do this) with a link to anything you might catch!

  5. Normally, it is not permissible to go onto these sacred sites.  I have been privy to an EVP that was captured in the Northwestern N.C./East Tn. area that was in a native language identified to me as Cherokee.  Since I do not speak the language, I cannot verify what was said, but I am acquainted well enough with those individuals for it to be believe able.
