  1. Well,I just read a story yestarday, where some teenage ghost hunters were shot at.Some guy open fire at them, when they were in the dark at a haunted cemetary.

  2. I used to work in Atlanta Ga. for a company that custom configured computers for rental clients.  As these computers got a little use and age on them we would ear mark them for a company who would rent them for classes that teach people to take apart and put back together a pc.

It was on a trip to Chattanooga Tn. to deliver and set up 60 of these computers for one of the above mentioned classes that I had my first encounter with an ghost .

Myself and a co-worker made the delivery to the Read House Hotel in Chattanooga.  We met a man at the delivery entrance that took us to the 3rd floor and showed us where we were to set up.  Even though we went up on the public elevator, when we left, we were shown to the service elevator and told to bring everything up that way.

We went down the service elevator and went outside to get the pcs.  When we got back into the building we could not get the sevice elevator to work.  We saw an employee and asked if we had the right elevator.  It was the sevice elevator but was not in order and had not been all day.

The employee was very helpful and located for us the events planner(who was female) who wanted to show us where to set up.  We explained that a man had already shown us and we took her right to the exact place.  She almost acted upset but then again she was more curious to know who the man was.  We both admitted that we had not looked at a name tag (hadn't noticed one for that matter) but we gave what discription we had.

Anyway, it took about 1 1/2 hours to set up all those computers.  We left, no big deal.

My co-worker and I went back 2 days later to pick up the pcs and we had a message from the planner to contact her.  I used the house phone and she invited us down to her office.

Turns out she has video of our arrival.  If we hadn't known better the conversations(not heard but you could see us speaking) were with each other for there was no one in the video but ourselves.

It really scared my co worker, I think his blood pressure was prolly off the charts.  I did worry about it but for a whole different reason.  I have been able to talk to spirits and ghost since a young age.  It never dawned on me that it was anything other than a person.

In retrospect, I know now that it was a ghost, not a spirit.

BTW She did share with us that evening that the Read House is a vary haunted location.  So, if you very get the urge....go stay the night.  Its a beautiful place and is in a good location for other sites in the city.

  3. Well I ain't doin' this c**p for my health that's for d**n sure; neither is it for my reputation or money -- I've never charged money to help with a spirit problem; its bad enough trying to get them to be reasonable...imagine if you had to constantly reassure them that you really were there for them and not because you got paid...I would not be very effective at all.

Truthfully, my scariest encounter (which is no longer scary) was when I went to this one house that apparently had "issues" with pets dying in the basement (we found out after).

I knew right when I walked in the house I wanted to go to the basement but one girl was going to go first and had gone down and didn't get anything. I went down and was instantly connected.

Long story short; they were pissed off and I got yelled at...we worked around it; they came home (not recommended for everybody; do not try it at home)...left when they were ready with me and its all good -- it wasn't so much the problem; it was when I was listening to the audio that I got scared.

It's going along...going along...then this horrific sound (yelled at) -- still not the scary part. I knew it was EVP and I had caught a bit at the end...I was able to slow it down and sort of in/under this 'scream' you hear "IS THIS LOUD...(pause)...Malachi?"

That's the scary part...keeping in mind that in that state I was/am an Ordained Minister (i.e. messenger of God) and I hang with Angels -- all the way around; Malachi is appropriate.

So not only were they indicating that they were acutely aware of who/what I was...but by screaming and asking me "Is this loud?" was a clear indication that they knew I could hear them.

Given most peoples speculations of whether or not there was actual 'deliberate intelligence', etc etc this in one fell swoop removed all doubt...and I was scared because if they were so aware and so able to know that I could hear them AND that I was "Malachi"...what else could they do?

It took some convining, but I finally realized it didn't matter what they COULD do...it was what they WOULDN'T do that mattered.

So my use of the name these days is mainly out of respect.

  4. I do it just to help people out.

the only thing that has scared me is people that are all hyper worried about the unknown, I feel the energy and it wears me out.

  5. I'm not a ghost hunter, but I would have personally been scared to be standing next to Derek Acorah in either of these Most Haunted episodes!  (see links)

  6. I am a paranormal investigator.  My group is in Texas.  We were doing an investigation at a day care.  We asked "Can you do something to show us that you are here" and seconds later, a poster fell from the wall.  The weird thing is that the poster was hanging on hooks with adhesive (like the kind you use in your bathroom).  They are not easily removed.

A true paranormal investigator will not charge for their services.  Our team is a team of paranormal enthusiasts and it is truly to document and understand the paranormal.

  7. Most Haunted was found out to be fake. There's tapes on youtube about the hoax and article online of british magazine. But I do believe in ghosts and stuff, but I'm not a paranormal expert sorry
