  1. other than that one i really don't think there are any actual "ghost tours" there might be little little things on the streets and stuff but nothing really distinguishable. I have been to Jamaica and I went on the white witch of rosehall plantation and it was REALLY cool. I think there could have been more to it, but i was only 10 then and im 18 now so they have probably added a lot more stuff to it though.

There are some mysterious sites in Jamaica though, nothing ghost like though. one is called the blue lagoon which is a part in the ocean that is so deep nobody has ever reached the bottom, it may not sound scary but when your actually there, you get the creeps because so many people have died in it a you really wonder what is down there

    Good Luck

  2. OMG I'm going to Jamaica in July - I love ghosty stuff too and I'm gonna check out that White Witch of Rosehall Plantation.

    Nicky (UK)

  3. I can't remember the name of the great house right now, but there's one that my aunt went to where in a picture of the great house owner and his wife a slave that died a year before turned up in. It's a great house in Trelawny I think.

  4. Sorry, I don't know.

  5. your out of  luck

  6. Rose Hall is probably the only real 'ghost tour', but there is a dilapidated Great House in trelawny with a few facts around it:

    1. its over 200 years old. Used to be a part of a sugar estate employing slaves.

    2. There is a large slave burial ground as part of the property. I always thought it was a HILL in the middle of the plantation. When i grew old enough to ask, i was told that its a grave yard, with shrubs and bamboo stalks matted together to look like a hill. NOBODY is brave enough to cut it. At least one historian has found human skeletons there. They have been barred from doing further digging.

    3.   There is a HUGE tree that is about 250 years old on property with a huge chain embedded in a branch. The chain was used to hang slaves.

    4. There are 2 old (dry) wells on property, all of which were used to dump bodies for over 200 years ago.

    5. About 5 people have died in accidents working on the property in the last 30 years.

All the people on the property have seen ghosts.

Why is there no tour? The property is an operational farm. Various governments have tried unsuccesfully to 'capture it' from its rightful owners over the years for its historic value.

The owners have become hostile to any such suggestions.

  7. okay i found this but its not exactly a tour the mandeville one

    http://theshadowlands.net/places/jamaica...

but its soooooooooo ironic... friday i was leaving work and I heard the security asking about some duppy (or ghost) ... if "the duppy was still there"  I of course butted in and found out that they were speaking of this place in Manadeville and she use to work there as a security.... it sounded like the real deal.  Its hours away from montego bay but there is knutsfordexpress.com of other means.

Try calling to school and asking for a campus tour

    http://www.ncu.edu.jm/

there is also Devon House... which has a tour and they say its haunted too. - this is in Kingston a nice day trip (3 1/2 hours from montego bay)

    I also found http://www.jamaicancaves.org/duppy.htm

    some haunted cave.

And actually my school St Andrew High is suppose to be haunted by some pink lady...

One suggetion is to ask around get locals to tell u about duppy and rolling calf. :)
