Question:

Ghostly Orbs in my Pictures?

Okay... so I went on a mission trip. It was a church thing. I honestly wouldn't be surprised if there were ghosts there, it's just that I've never seen one before or anything.

In this picture, the orbs are kinda hard to see. They're up in the sky by the trees over people's heads. http://i311.photobucket.com/albums/kk472/fishfreak31/DSC01532_2.jpg

In this photo, there is a girl on the right hand side with long dark curly hair. Look above her head and there is an orb. http://i311.photobucket.com/albums/kk472/fishfreak31/DSC01544_2.jpg

Weather: clear skies at night. Dry, up in the mountains.

Purpose for taking photo: taking pictures of friends.

Taken with my sony digital 7.2 megapixel.

Also, I don't know if this helps or not, but there was a random woman wearing all white who popped out of nowhere a couple days before this pic was taken and started preaching. She was thought to be an angel.

Someone tell me what the heck these little orbs are.

  1. Hmm...well I can't really figure any logical reason why the orbs would be there, exept lights in the back, but thats very doubtful. I would say the lady in white is just a coincidence, but I would say those orbs are some sort of spirits.

  2. Dust particles.

There was a show displaying how simple dust particles can appear as "orbs" in photographs. There is nothing supernatural about it, it is simply the light reflecting off the particles.

  3. In the first picture, the two in which you circled could be bugs, they are to far away to tell.As well as in the second picture, it was to small to identify clearly. However the rest in the first picture are to large to be insects and there is no visible light that could cause it. so i would have to say they are orbs. However just to be sure, your camera was working fine, both before you took these pictures and during>Nothing strange going on because those orbs could have been attributed to them, but I Am not thinking so.

The little orbs that you saw are the energies of ghosts who are trying to either materialize(which takes a lot of energy, could be one of the reasons your camera died, they took the energy form the batteries and camera itself) or are the residue.just the spirit energy.they are harmless and pretty much nothing to worry about.

random woman i would just pass off as random, coincidence she was preaching.

EDIT- So you didn't circle it in green?I just assumed that you did because I have never seen green orbs, they usuakky appear white or grey. But it isn't entrirely unheard fo for them to  be opther colors.

  4. There is a Paranormal Phenomena section under

Science & Mathematics: Alternative: Paranormal Phenomena

where you can get many perspectives on this type of question

  5. did someone died in your family?? beacuse that happened to my family with spirits and that kind of stuuf if somone died is possible to comeback and bother your family

  6. Yeah..that looks just like what I've been getting in my pics lately! Check out this pic  I posted a question earlier today.... http://bp2.blogger.com/_fSo2UUGduZA/SITi...

  7. spirit orbs. people spirits who are in another realm. but can only be seen when u take there pic.

  8. That was a ghost it must of been angry.Yuo should try to see if anyone died were you were at.

  9. That's NOT a ghost, and it's not dust or bugs either; look it's clearly a 2D image plastered to the pic.

What that really looks like is over-exposure (but that's only in film) or a blotch of ink that got water spilled on it.

But for digital cameras all I can say is, clearly your camera was on the fritz because it died two days later.  It probably didn't focus correctly and misinterpreted the sky or a distant light etc.

Perhaps it broke and misinterpreted the image of a real ghost that now cannot be seen correctly :P

But that really sucks about your camera, you should take it to a camera shop.
