Ghosts? Is my daughter haunted by a ghost? Serious answers only please.?

My daughter is 14, and over the course of her life, she has had four encounters with what I believe were spirits/ghosts.The first was when she was around six, she and her sisters and three friends were camping out in the living room and they started screaming, apparently they saw a man writing their names with his finger in smoke. The four oldest children still tell this tale with tears to this day,eight years later.Twice in my bedroom where we live now, she has felt someone tap her on her shoulder.She got really upset each time. She thought someone was standing behind her.It was in the same spot in the same room.About two years ago,she was waiting for the bus and said she saw two small children,a girl and a boy, wearing torn clothing standing at the bus stop with her.This was before seven in the morning.She got on the bus and they were sitting several seats in front of her,turned around staring at her,sitting on their knees.She said they looked 4-5 years old.Any advice appreciated.

She is just open to the other side.  She can listen to them and find out what they want or why they are still here and tell them to go to the light but some are stubborn and stay no matter what.  We have a little boy that lives here and we have all seen or heard him at some point.  He was killed 40 years ago on the road in front of our house and his family use to live here and we didn't know all that until we started seeing him and his mom ended up confirming details for us.  Ghosts are everywhere just not everybody can see them.  Children though always can at a young age and as they get older some keep their minds open to it.

i don't think this is crazy my niece is 9 and her grandpa died in June and she has said that he swings with her i believe kids are able to seethings we can not

It sounds as if your girls have psychic abilities. Don't let them be afraid of them. They can be a positive for them. Try to get them some counselling from a spiritual church (not sure what you may call them in the US). The people there have the same abilities and can coach newbies in how to deal with it. Just make sure it is a reputable group and not some scamsters.

I don't think she is being haunted. She just is able to see what we can not. Just remind her that ghosts can't hurt her, they are just an imprint of the past.

I've had similar experiences my whole life.  Some people are just in tune.  If you cannot find any rational explanation, then your daughter has a gift.

If she's afraid of them, or fears that they might hurt her get it investigated. Has she seen any of them recently? If she feels someone tapping her at night she needs to shout for help immediately.

Could be demon spirits.Visit a united Pentecostal church sometime and talk to the pastor, and then you all have a prayer session at your home.See what happens.If it is ghosts, nothing will happen, if it is demons, watch out,unless you all get filled with GOD'S SPIRIT.

You need to find a good priest to bless your house...Kids see things sometimes that others dont...Watch what you bring into the house..Nothing demonic..No ouiji boards, etc...I could tell you some pretty freaky stories where priests have had to go in and take care of things..If you live in Michigan or Connecticut, I know of two very good priests...

Just because there are spirits, does not mean they are haunting. If I were you, I would buy them books on spirits and 'ghosts'. The 14 year old should get a better idea of what it is, but if you read a book to the younger daughter and explain what it means, it will help her understand too. It's nothing to be afraid of.

I was at my grandma's house after my grandpa died a few months back and like, i was watching TV and out of no where, the TV shut off and a mans face popped up and it was red. I screamed and i started crying and my grandma came in and saw it too and we're scared to death now because of it. The house I live in now is also the house where my great grandma died on my dad's side and like, every now and then I sometimes see like, smoke going around the corner up stairs... idk lol oh well.

but like, yeah, teach her that they won't hurt her. Teach her that they're  usually actaully trying to help. Most of the time..?

i dont think she is crazy she can just see things that some of us cant tell her to find out what these little kids want from her. Tell her to talk to them and find out why they are there.

young girls epically around this age can become magnets for ghosts and spirits they have a strange kind of energy output around this age that attracts spirits even more powerfully i would recommend contacting your priest or who ever you look to for guidance, possibly a local medium or clarinet as well just do some res arch first, the absolute best thing in my op ion would be to contact a local LDS bishop, as i believe they would have the most power  to preform a blessing or a prayer session

Having met a ghost at one time, I would have to say it is possible.

However my 'ghostly experience' was a positive one.  In fact other than TV and movies, I have never heard of any negative experiences with ghosts.

Yes, the unknown makes us nervous.  We like to be in control and we like to know what is going on.  We don't like to walk in the woods if there are bears out there and we don't like to walk out to the bus if the ghosts are out there.

So assuming you don't want to take the kids to a shrink, I would suggest coming to terms with these ghosts.  Have they ever done anything to hurt the kids?  It does not sound like it in the story you have told.  

It is kind of like the boogey man.  The guy that lives under the bed.  If he's down there, he may well be down there to protect you.  There are no known reports of boogey men carrying off children into the night.

Nor are there reports of ghosts hurting people.

My ghost did about 12 hours of work for me.... didn't have to lift a finger.  

I would not try to discount the kids, but rather work them towards not fearing the unknown.

It could just be their imaginations. Sometimes we think we see things, or we think about things so much that we start believing them. As for if ghost do exist or not, I do not really know. Some people believe when children are very young they pick up on things because they have not yet been taught that these things aren't real, I am really not sure.

Well... it just may be dreams seeing as your other child was afraid to get on the bus because she saw the 2kids in raggy old clothes, try walking her to the bus and telling her she is imagining things. there is an old courthouse and ive been in it and all u have to do is make friends with the ghosts.  

ghosts are/ can be nice spirts. children ussually are nice but children usually are nice and from '' heavan'' ghosts from h**l usually are gray or black.

    remember ghosts are on earth cuz they are making sure thier family is safe and thy might have un finished things to do like work or they might be upset like depressed or sad

Are you in the United States?

If so, then I definitely think you should give TAPS a call. TAPS is the Atlantic Paranormal Society, and they help out families like yours. Helping children is their number one priority, especially when the children are too scared to go about their daily lives.

While you're waiting on a reply, I encourage you to check out a few things concerning your house and the area around your house.

1- with children, there is always a chance of poltergeist activity. They can be the focal point of the activity, and even cause it. You can do some background checking to find out if this could be happening to your daughter. Poltergeist activity occurs where there are rich limestone deposits. Check out the geology of your area for limestone deposits. You may be able to find this through the USGS, a local park, a library, or a university.

2- Check your home's electrical wiring. Are there any wires that are exposed and not properly shielded? This can cause high electromagnetic frequencies that can cause bouts of depression, paranoia, the feeling of being watched, and hallucinations with exposure. Check the spot where the girl constantly feels a presence behind her. Is it near any outlets? Are there wires running overhead?

3- The Earth gives off certain magnetic fields due to its rotation and revolution. In these fields, very weird things can occur, at least I think so. This can be discovered through the equipment that TAPS uses though.

Definitely send an email to TAPS. One of my relatives did as the ghosts were affecting her 2 yr old and newborn, and they sent a local team out to investigate.

Do not contact psychics or mediums. Priests believe that these psychics can stir up the ghosts with their presence and make the situation worse for you when they leave.

If your daughter has a ouija board, now is the time to remove it from her room. Store it, don't destroy it. If her friends and her have been using it, you need to know! The ouija board can attract demons through it. Demons are spirits that never existed as a human before. If you throw away or destroy a ouija board, you may find your troubles worse than before. So, keep it until a professional tells you its safe to get rid of.

There are three types of hauntings. The first is a residual haunt, where the energy of a certain moment is taped and forced to play over and over again in a certain location on Earth. Residual hauntings do not interact with people, they just let their tragic story unfold. They are not spirits left in this world, just a memory that time has saved. It does not sound like this is what you have.

The next type is an intelligent hauting. These were human once, they are now spirits and can interact with you. Sometimes they pick up objects, brush against a person, etc. They usually do not mean harm. This is most often the case when there are hauntings.

The last, well I won't scare you.

Please, contact TAPS asap for your daughter as they can collect evidence, and they will disprove or prove that you have ghosts. At the end, you may feel more at ease.
