All spirits can read your thought frequencies. Imagine a cup in your hand, now in the physical world no one would see it but on the Etheric plane it would be seen by any Angel, Demon or ghost passing by. they can literally read in see your thought projections. They Just read the electromagnetic or information wave you give off which is interpreted by their consciousness which is mind. When God visited Abraham, Abrahams wife laughed inside of her at the idea that she could have kids at her old age. God heard her and responded "Why did you laugh?" she was astonished. He picked up her thought frequency. We emit thought waves all the time which travel at the speed of infinity, it is local and non-local this is how we pray and receive thought from God "telepathically. Theoretically all matter vibrates and has an wave component. Collective consciousness which is an collection of thoughts emitted. One idea you come up with can and could possibly have came from someone else.

There's an old Chinese saying,

"Ghosts won't know."

No telepathy (I mean, they can't read your mind) for ghosts, thank God.  But they can see, hear, and read your body language.  That's because you exist on multiple planes at once, and one of you is on the same plane as the one that ghosts occupy at all times.  Sometimes they occupy our physical plane as well.

But if a spirit or a ghost communicates with people, it seems to be a form of telepathy.  You can have a dozen people in a room and 8 could be totally unaware of its presence.  The others may feel, it, see it, and/or hear it.  But if multiple people hear it, they usually agree on what the ghost said.  If it were sound based, then everyone would hear it regardless of awareness.

I've seen nick-knacks turned and rearranged, doors slammed, and chairs dragged across rooms in front of my face.  Don't think that because a ghost has no body it can't move things, or hurt you.  Don't think because it has no brain or no ear drums, it can't hear you.  How can anyone believe in ghosts and think they're deaf, dumb and blind is ridiculous--what kind of "life" is that?  At least be consistent, either ghosts don't exist, or they're individuals with a range of personalities, attitudes, infirmities and powers, just like when they were alive.
