The Blucerchiati sporting director has stressed that while he is interested in a lot of players from the Nerazzurri squad, his club cannot match the costs required to bring back the striker.
Sampdoria director of transfers has declared that his club will not be pursuing the signing of http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Giampaolo-Pazzini-c14802, as Sampdoria lacks the financial prowess to meet the costs for such a move.
The striker was sold to the Nerazzurri by the Samp in an exchange for the services of http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Jonathan-c18993 Biabiany, along with €12 million in cash.
The Beneamata forward got off to a good start at the Milan outfit but his performances continued to diminish, and the attacker could manage just five goals in the last season.
The former Fiorentina-man recently stated that he is looking for a move away from the Nerazzurri, after it has become clear to him that he is no longer part of the club’s plans for the next year.
Although the claim was sidelined by Massimo Moratti as an emotional outburst, the striker continues to be linked with other Italian outfits.
Sampdoria sporting director stated that his club is bent on working towards a brighter future for the outfit, and are ready to stretch themselves financially in order to make way for lucrative acquisitions.
However, Pasquale Sensibile was adamant that the Samp is in no condition to go anywhere near the kind of expenses, that will be required to bring Pazzini back to Inter Milan.
While talking to Mediaset, the Samp transfer chief said:
“Our club is orientated to look to the future. Of course we could make an exception, but his situation, for now, has nothing to do with Sampdoria. At the moment, we can’t get close to the costs that it would take to bring Pazzini back to our club.”
Sensibile went on to stress that he has spoken to http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Inter-c39567 Milan about several interesting players in their squad, but maintained that no deal has been done as yet.
The Sampdoria chief maintained that Pazzini is a young and talented player, and will have no shortage of offers if the Nerazzurri opt to offload him.
