Gian Piero Gasperini says http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Inter-c39567 would respond to criticism by beating Novara – Serie A Update
Newly appointed Inter Milan coach Gian Piero Gasperini has insisted that it’s time that the Nerazzurri respond to all the criticism and beat Novara tonight. Inter face the recently promoted side at Stadio Silvio Piola in their third game of the 2011/12 season.
Inter lost their opening Serie A game against Palermo 4-3 and ended the second game as a stalemate against AS http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Roma-c31603. Now if the Nerazzurri fail to win the game tonight against Novara, it would create many speculations regarding the future of the team and
Gasperini’s future as the coach. The team and the coach are already under heavy criticism due to the recent failures.
Majority is blaming the 3-4-3 formation used by Gasperini and it is known that the men in the black and blue jerseys are not used to such a formation. The players need some time to settle down with the new tactics and give in their full performances.
Gasperini recently held a pre-match press conference in which he told the reporters that they are looking forward to make up for the recent short comings.
"There has always been a bit more criticism and nastiness towards Inter. But the best way to respond to criticism will be on the pitch. The road taken now seems to me the right one; we must continue to demonstrate solidity. However, I believe that in these
matches we haven't deserved so few points,” said the Nerazzurri head coach.
“If an offside had been called in the Champions League the result would have been different. If a penalty had been awarded in Palermo, things probably have been different. And so on."
Recent reports from http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Chelsea-c38786 boss Claudio Ranieri is reckoned to be the favourite figure to take over the reins of Inter Milan. Many Italian sources have also revealed
that the game against Novara is the last game for Gasperini at San Siro as a coach.
However, the Inter playmaker, http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Wesley-Sneijder-c36799, has been quick to respond to the rumours and negated the chances of such an event happening. Sneijder said that the players are to be blamed rather than the coach as the team needs to adapt to the unconventional
techniques of the tactician.
