The legend has admitted that he is looking to get back into football and insists a he would love to manage the Blues; believes the club is in safe hands of Di Matteo.
Gianfranco Zola has admitted that he misses football, and would like to get back into the game as soon as possible. He insisted that the coaching job at Chelsea, although unlikely, will be a lucrative offer for him.
The veteran tactician insisted that it is routine to be contacted with different offers when a coach like him is sitting out of the game, but he pointed out that there is a big difference between making contact and being contracted for the job. The manager
insisted that his decision to join a club will depend a lot on the quality of project put in front of him.
While talking to the press, the former West Ham United manager said:
“I do miss the field of play and the games. But I don’t know what will happen. When you are out of a job, you are contacted and made offers. But there is still a gap between that and a contract. It also depends on the quality of the project being offered.”

Zola insisted that he himself is a big fans for the Blues, and would like to see the club in good hands. He went on to say that their current manager, Roberto Di Matteo, consisted those good hands for the London club.
