The former Juventus player has gone on to comment on the clash that sees his former clubs fighting it out for qualification into the knockout stages and is excited.
Gianluca Vialli spent time with both the clubs during his career, and after impressing with the Bianconeri outfit, he chose to leave the Turin outfit for the English football club in the latter part of his career. Juventus go into the UEFA Champions League
after an absence of around two years, whereas the Premier League outfit are the reigning European Champions, after they defeated Bayern Munich in the finals of the Champions League at the Munich stadium.
The Italian feels that it will be a keenly anticipated match and he feels that both teams will be out to prove themselves on the field of play. Juve would want to re-assert their dominance on the European front and turn the Juventus Stadium into a fortress

 He remarked that the absence of Didier Drogba will be felt by the reigning European champions, as he was so instrumental in their victory against the Germans, and he went on to state:

“However, if there is one Italian side who can do well in the Champions League this term, then it is Juventus. They play with intensity and a propensity to attack.”
