Juve have been doing remarkably well this season, surpassing everyone’s expectations including Gigi Buffon, who has pointed out that their manager is responsible for
it.
The Bianconeri are currently sitting in the second place of the Serie A, and are locked in competition with the reigning Italian champions, who occupy the
first place. Only four points separate the two sides and with nine games remaining in the season, this year’s Italian Champions might get decided in the last rounds of the Lega.
This season’s fortunes are in stark contrast to what Juventus achieved last year, when they finished seventh, and were not even able to finish in the Europa
League places. Their prolific displays in the Serie A have been replicated in the Coppa Italia, and are in the finals of the Cup along with Napoli.
Buffon has showered his manager with praise for the change in the Old Lady’s fortunes. He has immense faith in the Juventus head coach, and stated that
Conte instilled the philosophy that Juventus were once famous for. He further commented:
"The secret of our success is the ambition our coach has. Conte has brought a new mentality to the club. He has pushed us to sweat, to find strength and
to undergo hard work in order to cancel out the last two disappointing campaigns.”
The veteran went on to state that the manager works extremely hard and is always committed to the cause, a trait which permeates through the entire team.
However, despite the positives Conte has brought to the club, the http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Italy-c2926 international remarked that he was taken aback from the rapid speed that he has been able to transform the club’s fortunes.
The experienced goalkeeper was being interviewed by Il Corriere dello Sport and was quoted to have said:
"I certainly didn't expect us to have the campaign we have had so far, although I did hope we could do well. Now we have a Coppa Italia final to look forward
to and we will not give up in the Scudetto race."
Juventus have rediscovered their winning form after going through a streak of draws. The Lady Killer’s will have a tricky draw against http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Napoli-c40003 in their matchday
30 fixture of the Serie A.
