The Azzurri national team goalkeeper went on to state that he was not fond of games going to shootouts, and lauded Antonio Cassano for his temperament.
The world’s most expensive goalkeeper has his fears too and conceded that he was not comfortable with games not ending in regular time. The advent of the knockout stages in the Euro 2012 means that games not decided in normal and extra-time would go on to
be decided by penalty kicks.
