For what kind of bikes?  I know Giant has some good(ish) deals on MTBs, but other than that, I dont know.

I don't know much about Gitan, but my husband has done a lot of research on Giants and says they are great.  Everyone around town I have talked to that has one loves them, and the guy at our local bike shop says they are one of the best values for the price.  Hope this helps.
