Question:

Giant spider!? What is it?

I need a spider ID to figure out if the spider I found in my car recently could have left eggs behind.

I live in eastern Pennsylvania. The spider (including legs) was a little smaller than a playing card, hairy, and brown. I did find a few residual strands of web in the car.

  1. u need 2 take better care of ur car

  2. It might ba a tarantula

    research it!

  3. Take your car to a local pest control center and tell them all you know and I'm pretty sure they can fix the problem for you or you can buy poison for like spiders roaches ect....... the bombs ("the Bombs" are cans that you just like press once and they keep spraying automatically until the can is empty and that kills them and you can find some that even destroy eggs and burn nests it is a much cheaper way to do things but not as safe as taking the car to professionals. Good luck hopped this helped. And check your stuff that you leave in their (purse) because they probably got in their too if theirs more (I'm not trying to freak you out or anything and to be more on the safe side carry your cell and put 911 on speed dial at all times until the problem is taken care off ) good luck

  4. A picture would really help, even to just get an idea of what it looked like.

Just from your description two kinds came to mind - tarantula or a wolf spider which actually looks alot like a tarantula.
