Giants Rookie exhibits calm in his World Series win

Madison Bumgarner may be 21 years old, but that didn’t change the fact that he was working his socks off on Sunday night to earn his team a crucial victory in the 5th game of the World
Series. The young starting pitcher is a new addition to the San Francisco Giants pitching line up and his presence on the mound, last night spun the cogs in favour of his team. The ball club now sits on top of its rivals with a wins tally of 3 – 1 and a lead
of two games. Madison wasn’t expecting this in his wildest dreams and when the rookie ball thrower quelled the Texas Rangers in their home ground, he followed up the victory by saying; it’s what he was playing for.
The San Francisco ball club now have the edge over their counterparts and when the side goes back home to the AT&T Park for the 5th fixture, the team can win the World Series and make history
by claiming the ultimate prize in Major Lead Baseball after over 60 years.
For Madison Bumgarner, the victory against the Texas Rangers was as sweet as it could get. He allowed just 3 hits in his 8 innings of play and for a young player to do that in the opposing team’s
home ground, showed how calm he was in the match. Furthermore, it took 18 Texan batters to get to the first hit in the game. The Rangers couldn’t move past the first base till the 7th inning and that exhibition is enough to earn a complement from
any experienced ball player.
Bumgarner fired up Madison Avenue on Sunday and blasted the Rangers off the charts and he explained how his mentality helped him achieve the target, the team had set out to achieve. He said. “I've
told myself so much that it's starting to become second nature, and it makes it a lot easier on me and the players, I think, to see somebody that's relaxed out there throwing. I just keep telling myself to relax.”
Compatriot, Matt Cain, who has yet to concede a run in the playoffs said, "He's very mature for his age. I would think that anybody in the stands wouldn't sit and look at him as a 21-year-old. He's
a big kid, but just the way he carries himself, I think that's the biggest thing. He's very mature."
