  1. no one can stop the giants front 4 except a mobile qb and the giants didn't give a care about getting beat deep they were worried about getting pressure on tom brady and when pressure gets to tom brady he isn't right and thats what the best defenses do they pressure the qbs and the giants showed that in the super bowl and the offense attacked the p**s out of the front 4 of the patriots especially running the ball it was all just hustle

  2. I wasn't mad when the giants won.  I was jumping up and down and screaming till my voice went hoarse.  The Giants were on at the right time, and defensively, they took a couple of steps up and made it very difficult for every team they faced.  They more than deserved that SB win.  That's why the game is played.

Winning in someone else's house 4 times is not luck.

  3. As a Dallas fan, I can say the Giants earned it, but there are also many other factors to consider.

The Cowboys played like c**p in the playoffs. That's not an excuse, but they did. If not for penalties and stupid things like drops and missed tackles, Dallas would have won easily. Did you know the Giants had 57 TOTAL yards in the second half? The Cowboys still lost; which tells you how poorly they played.

Congrats to the Giants; they got it done when it counted and it was a true team effort. I won't deny that. But also, try to see both sides of the coin. Any of the Giants' wins over the Cowboys, Packers, and Patriots could just as easily have gone the other way.

New York was the underdog; and they pulled three upsets. This was based on the fact the Giants lost to all three of those teams in the regular season.

  4. it was an upset!!! but they didn't get lucky! Eli Executed when he had to and so did Tyree! they played better football thus won!

  5. I'm a packers fan and i don't think they were lucky.  The fact is their players made more plays than the other teams did and that's what it takes to win in any sport. The bottom line is they went into someone else's house a made more plays, that's not luck when they did it 4 times.

  6. First, I agree with "thepossy" one of the posters to your question.  The only part of the Giants season that pisses me is that the fans are supposed to be most intelligent in the football, baseball, and basketball sports worlds.  If that is true, then these "intelligent fans" seem to forget that they were ready to show EIi the door 10-11 games into the season.  Now:  a hero!  Frankly, I was Manning I would get out of NYC after the way the fans treated him before the magic clicked in for the G-men.   It is not the Giants, it is Giant fans that is the source of annoyance to the rest of the NFL fan base.   Hope you can see the difference.   There is  more to supporting a team than slapping on the back when they win the big one.  I am a Dallas fan and I could say they were not focused in the Giant game.  But, that is c**p.  We lost and this is a new season.   The other guy, "thepossy", is real fan. Not because he is Giant fan but he sees the big picture.  These players are professional and even the Dolphins have some tremendous players on the sqaud.   Enjoy the game and leave out the Howard Cossel c**p.

  7. Those who say that are mostly bitter Cowboy & Patriot fans who can't accept the Giants beat their favorites & will make up any excuse to explain why their teams lost.

  8. well i was goin for the giants to win the super bowl after my team lost in the playoffs

i had a good feeling they could win it after beating a great team(cowboys)

but when they actually won the super bowl against the pats i was shocked

but when i saw them in the preseason eli manning is for reaal

not better than ma favorite player and his brother peyton manning but he is a good qb

giants might be there at the end this year to i believe

it would be nice to see brother vs brother in super bowl too

  9. I am  Pats fan and i agree with you the Giants did outplay the Pats.

The Giants were seen as the underdog and it was an upset cause the Pats were totally awesome last season.

As far as Belicheck he is a great coach. You will see that this season when they go undefeated again but this season they get the last win.

    Enjoy the upcoming season.

  10. h**l, im a giants fan and i thought they were lucky, bottom line is there were better teams going into the playoffs last year, but some things went the giants way....and really they got lucky.....

  11. i dont know dude. my guess is that the pats were supposed to beat them so bad that when they lost the only explanation was it was a mistake and they still won anyway. i feel the same way though dude
