We're doing a more family-oriented lunch/brunch with a gift opening and birthday party all mixed together the day after my wedding. In some of the invites for the rehearsal dinner (mom, dad, in laws, and MOH) I want to put a little insert that says they are also invited to come to this.. but I don't know how to word it. I don't want to make it sound like they are going to be sitting around watching me open gifts so I can gloat all I got.. I need something cute. Help Please!

  1. Hi..i just recently had the same issue. you dont need to put anything about a gift opening on the invite. just simply state it as a brunch. they will enjoy watching..or helping in the process.

  2. Please join the happy couple Sunday morning at 11 for a luncheon.

  3. My BFF put a card in for her day after picnic just inviting everyone to a picnic to celebrate. It worked just fine, no mention of gift opening is really necessary.
