Gift card to a friend in uae?

my brother got married and moved to uae. i need to send him wedding gift of $100. how do i send it? amex gift cards good only in usa :( Visa i checked but not clear enuf.

can anyone help please?

other than gift card, how safe will traveller's cheque will be..i dont trust online websites, atleast the ones i saw were not trustworthy.
