Question:

Gift for the golf lover?

I need some gift ideas for my dad. I'm a poor college student so money has to be taken into consideration, $30-40. He works all the time, and just golfs as a hobby so I would like to get him something golfing related (however I don't know a thing about it). I would like to get his and a friend a round of golf but thinking ideally, that isn't going to happen. Anybody have any great golf gift ideas?

  1. Nice handmade portraits or paintings made from photos are always a good gift idea, so get him something along that line but golf-related,like one of him teeing off. You can find more such ideas at http://www.paintyourlife.com

They make all types of personalized and unique portraits on oil, pencil, charcoal or on canvas.

This company also has a studio for oil paintings reproductions. In case you are looking for an affordable gift urgently, you can take a look at their 'stock on sale'. Visit http://www.oil-paintings-reproductions.c...

  2. A nice divot tool and ball marker or a pack of titlest pro v1s or nxt tours balls most guys don't like spending that much on them.If you know what type of clubs he uses a ball cap of that brand or a golf towel with the brand name on it.

or personalized tees with his name on them. You could go online a lot of courses have promotions for  play on your birthday for free so sign him up for the free round or a good gust buster golf umbrella

a ball retriever or a real gaudy pair of plaid pants if he's into that or you could caddy for him on his birthday you could buy him golf glove (for the left hand if hes right handed) a rain coat or wind breaker, golf socks maybe a lesson( you should be able to get 1 for a round 40 or 50 bucks or more for goup lessons a range card for the local driving range for 50 buckets of balls or so to practice with

  3. Go to golf-club-head-cover.com. They have a huge selection of unique head covers from favorite dogs, wildlife, to Sea Golf head covers. They fit right in your price range and every time he reaches for the club with that club cover he'll think of you.

  4. The routine golf gift is a dozen (or 2 dozen) golf balls, make sure you know his level of golf:

If he is a good golfer get him something like Nike Pro V1's $45 a dozen...

Or if he is an OK golfer try something like a 90 compression Top-Flite

If he hits a lot in the water, go for the Pinnacle 15 Pack!

  5. Round of golf can be very expensive so how about golf balls? find out which ones he uses or just be nice and get him titlest Pro V1 the are about $40 a dozen but any golfers would really appreciate them.

or a glove or hat or tees.... a big pack of long tees.... you said your in college so you could get him a head cover for his driver w/ ur mascot on it!

  6. Why don't you get him a silver coin with his birth date on it for a ball marker
