Gift idea for grandma?

Well I moved to Canada about 7 years ago and my grandparents come from Argentina every 1-2 years to visit my family. My grandpa passed away a few months ago and I didn't even really get to say goodbye, so now that my grandma's here I want to give her something meaningful to take with her, I dunno nothing too expensive cause Im saving my money from my summer job for education and stuff.

I was thinking maybe taking a nice picture with her and getting a really nice frame to go with it. Any other ideas?

Thanks in advanced,

Tom.

  1. yes i think a pic of the both of would be lovely ,

  2. Some soap and cheap, but nice smelling, perfume in a cute little bottle along with some soap and maybe some slippers?

  3. Your idea is great - here are my suggestions:

Write a story about a happy  time that you and your grandfather spent together - you can frame it and give it to her (include a picture of the two of you together if you have one) you can get a copy made in many photo departments.

If Catholic, you could make a rosary and have it blessed by the local Priest (it will be cherished).

Obtain a locket and put pictures inside (doesn't need to be new - older ones sometimes are made better and cost less).  She can wear it always :)  You can even put it on her.

If I think of more, I'll add them to the list.
