I need a nice gift idea for my husband's birthday. I'm currently out of work so I'm on a tight budget. Something unique and thoughtful would be great, any hints or ideas?

  1. Coupons!  Make some coupons for thoughtful (but cheap or free) things.  Make a s*x coupon book!  Good for one _____________ fill in the blank.  Make a bunch.  Then staple them together into a little coupon book.

My husband did a picnic for my birthday.  It was fun and inexpensive... but don't know if that's the sort of thing that a man would like to receive.

  2. Maybe a framed poster about a subject that he likes? If you don't mind a poster of his favorite football team, he might like it. Or perhaps something more traditional such as a black and white photo or a painting of a famouis artist. Check out http://www.viewposters.com there are many categories that might give you ideas.

  3. a trip on the park will do...just bring camera... and have a photo of you and your husband...or go to the place where you first met...

  4. I thought buying a star is thoughtful and cheap, only like $20. Plus you can name it after him. Good Luck
