Gift ideas for a co-worker of mine??!!

Question

for starters, i work at a doctor's practice. my co-worker is moving to cali to go to school out there. she's in her early twenties. she taught me everything i know about my job and i really want to get her something she could remember me by. maybe something for her new apartment? i don't know.. i'd feel silly sticking ten bucks in an envelope. help me out?

I would get her a new day planner/ address book. I would then have everyone in the office who would like to keep in contact with her put their name and adresses in it. A good way to show her you are a real friend and not just a co-worker, is to put some thought towards her not only now, but also to show her you will care then.

also...if you want to up it a little, you could get a leather one, or one engraved with her name. and you might want to add little notes or something, reminding her of how much she helped you and inspiried you.

A small framed plaque/picture with a sentiment for her to remember you by or one of those small framed antique looking mirrors that are very popular now. They can go anywhere in her new home. Good Luck!
