Question:

Gift ideas for a piano teacher!?

She's a classy lady (about 50 years old, but looks no more than 40), always wears stylish clothes, is really talkative, and has been teaching me piano for 11 years.

I am graduating high school this year, so it'll be my last recital. I need to get her a really nice present, and I really don't know what it could be. It has to be a last-minute type of thing so I can go to a store and buy it (not a personalized or piano-themed sort of thing).

Any ideas?

  1. a nice scarf. or an biography of an great musician. or maybe cds of classical music.

  2. Get her a box of some really nice stationery.  They like that kind of stuff and its very useful - you know it won't collect dust on the shelf.

  3. Here are some ideas:

    1) A gift certificate to a music store

    2) A box of chocolates

    3) A gift certificate to a book store

    Hope this helps!

  4. Ear plugs.

  5. Gift certificates are awesome.  Especially to book stores.

    Or a nice book.

Those are my favorite gifts from my students.
