Gift shop returns.....?

Question

I bought a shirt when I was on vacation in South Carolina at Patriots Point Aircraft Carrier. I bought it at the gift shop there for my mom. I live in Minnesota, and I found out the shirt is a size small. Can I send it back and get a larger one? How much would this cost? Is it worth sending it back or am I better off just buying a new one from the online gift shop? Thank you, 10 points available!

Call the gift shop and explain the problem,it would be good to have the receipt for the shirt. it shouldn't cost that much to mail it back.
