Question:

Gifts for bridal party?

Aside from the bridesmaids and groomsmen - I would like to get something small for the others participating in the wedding (the "readers" and the people escorting our guests to their seats...etc). What should I get them? I will be having the rehearsal dinner and they are obviously invited - My budget is about $20ish each.

  1. I'd get them something like a gift certificate to a favorite restaurant or store. It might seem a little impersonal, but they'd probably enjoy it more than a t-shirt with your names on it or a trinket that will sit and collect dust.

  2. Movie tickets or a certificate to a restaurant.  Or you could get them a nice bottle of wine......

  3. I would lean toward something they can use rather something that would collect dust like engraved keychains and such.

Do you know their music or movie likes? How about CD or DVDs? (Be sure to include the gift receipt with the package.) Do they have iPods? How about iPod music cards? Gift cards to a movie theater chain is always fun.

    Hope that's helpful!

  4. I  think as  "Impersonal" as it is nowadays...people still woud much rather have gift cards. I would do something plain & simple. For the males who you are gifting, give them an Academy [[or other sporting good chain]] gift card, the females Bath & Body works.

  5. Gift  cards work great!!

  6. For $20, you cannot get them much more than a cheap gift.  How about a t-shirt that says, "I survived Max and Gladys' wedding."  Or, "marriage is an institution.  Some people belong in an institution."

  7. I was a reader at my brother's wedding last summer and I got a gift card to Barnes & Noble. It was perfect because they all know how much of a bookworm I am ( =

A giftcard to their preferred store would be appreciated I am sure!
