Gifts for the wedding party?

Does anyone have any creative ideas or ideas in general for some gifts we can give to our groomsmen and to our bridesmaids?

I was a groomsmen in a few weddings, and the coolest gift I got was the "man bag" it had a nice pocket knife with our initials engraved, nice money clip, a koozie, very nice golfballs/tees, and a few other little knick knacks....its was just cool because usually its the same ole same ole....

I suggest not giving item gifts, but money gifts. Such as gift cards to stores that are meaningful to the future and do some use, unlike items that collect dust after years.

What I do is just do $10-20 gift cards from target, bed bath and beyond, linens and things, and such.

Or if they have registries that is an easy way.

Or toss in a $100 card for what they want.

Money is respected better by newly weds than objects.

I gave my bridemaids:

Coach purses- went to outlet

jewerly for the wedding day

Old navy flip flops to the reception

I went to a local pottery place and Hand Painted coffee cups that said THANK YOU with the wedding date
