Gigi Simoni predicts Napoli to beat http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Inter-c39567 Milan: Serie A news

Former http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Napoli-c40003 and Inter Milan manager, Luigi Simoni, has branded the Partenopei side as favourites for the clash against Inter Milan.
The Nerazzurri will host Napoli in a mouth-watering Serie A encounter at the Stadio Giuseppe Meazza on Saturday, October 01, 2011. Simoni is excited to see Walter Mazzarri’s men transform as one of the best teams in Europe. The
former Juventus midfielder admits that it is very tough to get a result at San Siro but the Azzurri have some real quality players who can get them three points.
Simoni said, “San Siro is difficult to conquer, because it is a stadium that puts you under pressure. Having said that, Napoli have the characteristics that could allow them to come to Milan and win. They also seem hungrier right
now.
The 72-year-old believes that Napoli have their unique style of play and are very effective with it. The only thing that they might miss is the absence of their prolific striker, http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Edinson-Cavani-c11955, who is a huge doubt for the game.
The former Genoa boss added that the Azzurri’s performance in the UEFA Champions League justifies that they have developed the winning mentality and their reading of the game has improved a lot.
“Napoli know what they want, have a precise identity and a system that is perfect for the players at their disposal. Their performances do not come from possession so much as moving the ball very quickly. The only defect might
be the absence of important players able to adequately replace the top stars.”
Napoli have had a good start to the ongoing season and are placed fourth on the league table. On the other hand, they have also got off to an impressive start in the Champions League and have picked up a win and an away draw in
their opening two games thus far.
Simoni managed Napoli in the 1996-7 season and left them to join Inter Milan from 1997-1999. He also played for the Azzurri for one year from 1961 to 1962 and made 11 appearances for the club.
