Gilardino Sucks At AC Milan Then Saves Fiorentina from A Lost... ?

So the question is... Did he suck or was it that he didn't want to "Be successful" at the club... OR Did he just get lucky?

The problem is Stefy that Gilardino scored one goal in the whole game vs Juve. He scored with Milan also. However we saw more of this:

Edit: No luck in football, not in scoring a goal like that. Gila DOES have skill but in AC Milan you're expected to score like Inzaghi or Sheva before he left to Chelsea, i.e. not to have offdays, and if you did, they were as rare as they change of the Pope.

Edit: he won the CL with Milan Marky, doubt yours is a valid reason ;) Nice try tho hehe

EDit 2 for Marky: U do hate Serie A but get informed: Flamini was one of the best players just behind Dinho who played awesome. Senderos didn't play. Work out a better come back :P

I admittedly don't know much about Serie A. But, I did see the Juventus v Fiorentina game and was halfway impressed by Gila. He missed some good opps, created some opps, and finally capitalised late for the tie. Fiorentina was taking it to them (Juve) at home and deserved that tie, at the least.

Sorry to EC and others that I have been watching the Italian league...but my cable doesn't provide me with much, LOL.

gilardino has serious kill with the ball.but he needs to play in certain types of offenses.he has been worldclass as of late and Im sure he will continue to score throughout the year.

The thing is Gilardino is the type of striker that needs to play with another striker, you know like in a 4-4-2 formation or something similar. Milan's 4-3-2-1 formation did not suit him, and its quite apparent from their performance last season that it doesn't work for Milan as a whole.

I believe so far Gilardino has scored in every game since joining Fiorentina, counting preseason games, and the three goals he scored in CL qualifying.

there just wasnt enough quality in milan for him to produce his goods. now in fiorentina (a champions league team) he seems to maybe has better quality around him.
