I have a condition called Gilbert's syndrome and I am wondering how I can stay energetic from the time i get up until it is time to go to bed. I usually have a full day, getting up at 6 and going to school and working until around 10. This has really effected my life especially when I get sick with a cold or anything which becomes intesified because of my condition. Help!

  1. You have inherited an abnormal gean that controls the enzyme that helps break down bilirbin this means you have a lower level of enzyme that break down bilirubin so an excess of unconjugaded bilirubin builds up in your blood. Many factors can trigger this episodes, there are natural herbs to help you feel better and de toxic the liver and help with this syndrome. You may wish to check with a herb or vitamin store and see what they offer for this condition. best of luck and so sorry to read you have this and all the pain and suffering that comes with it

  2. I also have Gilbert's Syndrome. I was diagnosed when I was 15. I was told when I was 15 that symptoms may come and go and I needed to make sure to get enough sleep. I was barely able to lift my head at that time and was physically exhausted. My mom consulted a nutritionist and other alternative medical people. She tried many things but only one worked. She gave me a liver detox formula that an herbalist suggested. I took the detox for 2 weeks and at the end of the two weeks I felt about 90% better. A few months later I felt great. I only have symptoms when I overexert my self and then the exhaustion and fatigue come back.

I am now 31 years old and in the past 16 years have only had problems with symptoms of Gilbert's 4 times. Each time I have symptoms I detox and feel better a few weeks later.

You have to get plenty of rest to recover and get back to normal.

Ask your doctor before trying any treatments
