Gilmore Girls question?? Please help?!?

Question

Did Jess ever call Rory back, after the season 3 finale? When he went to California to see is dad, and he called her, but he didn't say anything.

I don't really want any spoilers, but if he does, can you tell me when in the series, and maybe what he said?

No, he doesn't call back but he does come back to Stars Hollow for his mom's wedding in the fourth season and leaves again. And he comes back in the sixth season also.

the last time i've seen him was when he visited rory while she was dating logan and just started taking her break from yale.  He had his life together and she didn't and the fought and he siad maybe I'll just visit later.

Yes, Rory and Jess cross paths again, more than once.  Did you see the episode where Rory graduates from Chilton and Jess calls her cell phone for the third time without saying anything?  Well Rory goes off on him because she knows it's Jess and she tells him that she could have loved him but he blew it and she's not wasting anymore time on him.  Did you know that that episode, the one with Jess in California meeting his dad and his girlfriend, was supposed to be a mini-pilot for a spin-off with Jess?  It never panned out though...although we do see the dad's girlfriend again in future seasons (she's a completely different character, named Anna Nardini from Luke's past).

Then, the next season while Rory is at Yale and Dean is married to Lindsay, they start getting close again.  One evening after having dinner together, Jess shows up at her dorm room out of the blue to tell her that he loves her and she should go with him to New York.  She says no.  

Shall I go on?  SPOILER ALERT so stop reading now if you don't want to know.

Rory is dating Logan now and she's dropped out of Yale and living with her grandparents.  Jess shows up really late at night, out of the blue again, to show her how well he's doing.  He brings her a book he's written and they make plans to meet up for dinner.  Logan shows up just as they're about to go out to dinner and all three of them go together.  Logan and Jess obviously hate each other and have it out in the restaurant.  Jess asks Rory what's going on with her because she's dropped out of Yale and living with her grandparents this is so unlike her.  He wishes her a belated happy birthday and disappears.  Rory and Logan fight and go on "a break".

Yes there's more but this is it.  Now Rory (who's back at Yale) and Logan are living together now.  She gets an invitation from Jess in the mail to some grand opening for a bookstore in Philly.  She decides to go to see Jess and it turns out he and some friends opened a bookstore/cafe/poetry nook place and runs into Luke and his daughter there too.  She and Jess kiss and they could go further, but Rory stops it because she says she's in love with Logan.  Jess says that isn't fair to me and she agress but he tells her if she wants to tell Logan they had s*x to make him jealous (even though they only kissed) then she can.

yeah in season 6 i think they get together (not dating, just friends). It's episode 8 in season 6. I can't remember if they do before that, I don't think so. Actually i think jess comes to rory's dorm room in college once in season 4 or 5. I don't quite remember. but i'm sure about season 6.
